Located in Auburn California, NorCal Chow Rescue is close to Sacramento, but also accessible to Reno and Sierra Foothill communities like Grass Valley, Nevada City, Colfax and Marysville. NorCal Chow Rescue saves and rescues dogs that it feels it can find homes for. We don't just aimlessly try to clean out the animal shelters. Many of our dogs are elderly dogs, that will live out their lives at our facility and never find homes and we know this. Though we would love to save every homeless chow in the world, we know the reality is that it's no feasible or possible. Therefore, we do what we can do.
